Kindergarten Info Sessions on Feb. 26 and Feb. 28
For families of incoming kindergarten students at Ed Smith, please join us for an info session where you will meet the teachers, learn about the curriculum, and visit the classrooms and school. There are two dates, one in the evening and one during the day:
Wednesday, Feb. 26th (5:00-6:00PM)
Friday, Feb. 28th (9:30-10:30AM)
If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out to the Ed Smith PTO, edsmithpto@gmail.com. The PTO has also put together some information about kindergarten at Ed Smith.
Middle School Info Session on Feb. 27
Current 5th grade students and their families are invited to a middle school information session at 5:30 on Feb. 27 in the library to explore more about middle school teachers, the curriculum, and the various activities offered for middle school students at Ed Smith. Join us to discover our Career and Technical Education Programs, sports opportunities, and high school preparation initiatives.
PTO Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 27
Join us for our monthly meeting on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 6:30 p.m. Agenda items include principal’s report, president and treasurer reports, middle school updates, votes on funding requests, and general camaraderie. Minutes from our January meeting are attached.
Regan’s Act of Kindness
You’re invited to participate in Regan’s Act of Kindness by donating new books, which will be distributed to organizations like Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, the CNY Ronald McDonald House, and more. Books for all ages are welcome. Books can be brought to Room 122 until Friday, Feb. 28.
